Network Operations Center (NOC) engineers oversee major computer networks and server issues from a central location. They analyze problems, take care of troubleshooting and respond to system events, communicate with on-site technicians, and monitor problems until they are resolved.

Duties and responsibilities of the NOC Engineer

NOC engineers monitor the performance and capabilities of computer systems using a variety of tools. They look for devices, software, and environmental alerts or faults. Once a problem is identified, NOC engineers work to determine the cause of the problem.
